Residency Program Description: A One year Residency Program for visual artists facilitated through ARCH that includes free live/work space. Resident artists will be chosen by a Selection Panel consisting of Arch staff memebers, educators and host organization representatives. Each artist will receive housing, rent free, in order to better pursue their specialized craft. In exchange for these accommodations, each resident will dontate their time to a host organization for no less than 15 hours a week, by passing on the knowledge of their particular artistic skill to children and young adults ages 6 - 25.

ARCH Development Mission: To act as a catalyst for commercial and cultural revitalization, primarily in the historic Anacostia neighborhood by creating a home for artists and arts in historic Anacostia as means to fulfill our mission towards Economic Development, Revitalization and Living Neighborhoods.
